Collision blocks all lanes on H1 Freeway at Wilder Avenue exit

HONOLULU, HI – An accident disrupted traffic along the H1 Freeway in the Makiki area of Honolulu on Wednesday afternoon.

An alert from KITV Traffic at about 1 p.m. reported the incident as a major collision that occurred on the westbound freeway at the exit for Wilder Avenue.

The Honolulu Police Department stopped all lanes of traffic to move the vehicles off the roadway. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

As a result of the crash, traffic was reported heavy in the Kaimuki neighborhood and was backed up to West Hind Drive.
