Multi-vehicle accident snarls traffic on H1 Freeway east before Kunia exit

KUNIA, HI – A multi-vehicle accident was causing major delays along the H1 Freeway on Wednesday morning, KITV Traffic reported.

The crash happened along the eastbound freeway at the Kunia exit and left all but the middle lane closed.  Traffic was reported to be at a standstill from the Makakilo overpass.

Eastbound lanes were shut down while crews were clearing debris from the roadway.  Tow trucks were headed to the scene to remove the vehicles involved.  There were no immediate reports of injuries.
