MILILANI, HI – The Honolulu Fire Department responded to the scene of a single-vehicle car wreck in Mililani last week.
In a news release, the fire department said it received a 911 call Nov. 13 at 1:49 a.m. for the crash
near 95-1350 Meheula Parkway. Five units with 15 personnel responded.
Crews arrived to find that a car had crashed into a tree and a man was pinned inside the vehicle. Rescuers stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the driver.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
