WAHIAWA, HI – Honolulu police said a pedestrian passed away from injuries suffered in a pedestrian accident earlier this month.
Hawaii News Now reports the crash happened Nov. 4 in the Wahiawa area at about 4:45 p.m. The 90-year-old victim was walking in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Kilani Avenue and Koa Street when he was hit by a vehicle going west on Kilani Avenue.
The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was transported to an area hospital where he was reported to have died on Thursday.
The woman driving the vehicle involved was not injured and remained at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
