HONOLULU, HI – Honolulu police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash at an area restaurant on Sunday morning, reports Hawaii News Now.
The accident took place at a Burger King at Kaʻahumanu Street and Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City. Investigators said a motorist crashed into the restaurant at about 4 a.m., with the collision also damaging a traffic light. No injuries were reported in the incident but there was damage to the building.
Crews were dispatched to the scene to repair the damage to the light. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash, including whether speed or alcohol were contributing factors.
