EWA BEACH, HI – First responders were called to the scene of a car accident in Ewa Beach Wednesday morning, reports KITV.

Authorities said a car crashed into a home in the 91-1500 block of Laupae Street shortly before 9:30 a.m. A 72-year-old woman and an 8-year-old boy were treated at the scene for minor injuries, though it was not clear if the two were inside the car or in the home at the time.

The owner of the home was quoted in the report as saying two people in the car were arguing when the driver missed a turn and slammed into the home.

Honolulu Police and the Honolulu Fire Department responded to the scene.
