HONOLULU, HI – Honolulu police and emergency crews were at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning, reports the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision shortly after 10 a.m. in the area of North Nimitz Highway and Rodgers Boulevard near the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
First responders arrived to find that one of the drivers could not exit the vehicle, but he was freed through the use of hydraulic rescue tools that opened the door.
Three people were injured in the wreck, including a man in his late 80s who was hospitalized in serious condition. Two other victims, a woman in her 80s and a woman in her late 50s, were listed in stable condition.
