MOANALUA, HI – Police were at the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision in Moanalua Saturday night, Hawaii News Now reported.
According to Honolulu police, a driver collided with another vehicle on Bennion Drive in the Moanalua Terrace Housing area at about 10:30 p.m.
The first driver. a 61-year-old man, ended up pinned under a tow truck. First responders extricated him with rescue tools but he died after being rushed to an area hospital. The victim was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, police said.
Police are trying to determine what led to the incident.
