HONOLULU, HI – A driver involved in a recent hit-and-run incident in Honolulu remains at large, according to Hawaii News Now.
The collision occurred Aug. 26 on Pali Highway near the intersection with South Vineyard Boulevard at about 9:15 p.m. Honolulu Crime Stoppers said the driver of a Nissan van broadsided a Lexus SUV headed north on Pali Highway. The SUV driver suffered multiple injuries in the crash.
The Nissan driver left the scene without stopping to help or provide information. Police said the van was found later on South Vineyard Street but the driver was gone.
The suspect is described as a man in his 40s with a medium build. Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact Honolulu Crime Stoppers.
