HONOLULU, HI – The Hawaii Department of Transportation alerted motorists to a vehicle collision affecting traffic in Honolulu on Monday morning.

In an advisory issued at 6:54 a.m., the HDOT said the crash was blocking the Lunalilo Street off-ramp eastbound turn lane towards Ward Avenue.  KITV reported the incident left one of the vehicles on its side.

Traffic was being rerouted eastbound on Lunalilo Street to Emerson Street.  Drivers on Magellan Avenue had to make a right turn onto Ward Avenue, officials said.  A tow truck was dispatched to the scene and crash was cleared about an hour later.  No injuries were reported.
