WAHIAWA, HI – The Hawaii Department of Transportation alerted drivers to a crash affecting traffic in Wahiawa on Wednesday afternoon.
An advisory from the DOT at 2 p.m. said the accident shut down Kamehameha Highway between Whitmore Avenue and Kilani Avenue. The highway was being contraflowed in that area while tow trucks were on their way to the scene. There were no reports of injuries.
An update was issued about an hour later stating that the wreck had been cleared and all lanes of the highway were reopened.
