WAIALUA, HI – Three people were hurt, including two children, in a collision involving a minivan in Waialua Wednesday morning.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported details of the wreck, which occurred off Kaukonahua Road at about 1:05 p.m.
The driver of the minivan, a 39-year-old woman, lost control of the vehicle and it ended up in bushes. No other vehicles were involved.
The woman and two passengers, an 11-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, were transported by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services to an area trauma center with serious injuries.
The children were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, EMS said.
