3 adults, 3 children injured in Pearl City multi-vehicle accident

PEARL CITY, HI – Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Pearl City on Saturday afternoon, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Honolulu police, fire and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene in the eastbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway near the Waimalu off-ramp after the incident occurred at about 5:20 p.m.

Six people involved in the wreck were transported by EMS to area hospitals. Three adults were among the injured: two women ages 45 and 34 who were in serious condition, and a 33-year-old man in stable condition.

Also transported were three children: a 7-year-old girl who was listed in serious condition, and a 10-year-old girl and baby girl who were both in stable condition.

Two teenage boys were evaluated by paramedics but did not require transport.
