Recovery Law Center is proud to announce that it recently sponsored the Hawaiian Humane Society’s 2021 Pets in Paradise Calendar Contest. Each year, residents submit photos of their pets to be featured in the organization’s annual calendar, which raises money for vital programs to support stray animals in Hawaii.
This year, the humane society far surpassed its $25,000 goal, raising a record high of $45,000 for local animals.
“Recovery Law Center is always happy to sponsor efforts to help animals in need,” says founding attorney Glenn Honda.
The Honolulu law firm also sponsors the humane society’s annual “Ella Gives Back” adoption campaign by paying for adoption and dog licensing fees during the event. Ella is a paraplegic French bulldog owned by staff members at Recovery Law Center.
“Everyone at Recovery Law Center feels compelled to help not only injured people, but also the pets in Hawaii that go without homes and without love,” says Honda. “They need our help, too.”
